Robert Collier assists clients with a broad range of matters related to litigation and collection services. He is licensed with the State Bar of Texas, U.S. Southern and Eastern District Courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  

Robert is an experienced litigator serving as lead and local counsel in cases involving severe injury. Robert received his B.A. from Millsaps College and his Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law with a Certificate in International Law at Texas Southern University. Robert clerked for a state judge and U.S. Congressman Bennie Thompson and the U.S. Homeland Security Committee. He also externed for US District Court Judge Kenneth Hoyt of the Southern District,

Robert is active in the Houston community. Robert previously served on the Executive Committee of the National Bar Association (NBA). Robert served as a Chair of the African American Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Texas, representing the interest of all African American lawyers licensed in Texas.  He has also served as a Fellow for the American Bar Association Business Law Section; ABA Cyberspace and Consumer Financial Services committee member; Board Member of the Association of Corporate Counsel of Houston; Chair of the National Bar Association’s Finance and Fundraising and Communication Law committees; Board Member for the Houston Lawyers Association; Houston Bar Association member; President of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Houston Alumni Association; Houston World Affairs Council; Board Member and Treasurer of the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce; Mayor’s International Trade Council; Board Member of City of Houston Business Development, Inc.; National Board Member of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Alumni Association and member of the TMSL Academic Blue Ribbon Committee (Co-chair of Career Development Committee); Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation; and Board Member and General Counsel for the 100 Black Men of Houston. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Robert is married to Judge Rabeea Collier of the 113th Civil District Court, Harris County, Texas and they have two sons.
